How do you make a pile of wax like this:
Into this:
Easy…you just find a pressing plant and, there you have it. Not so fast!
First, you’ve got to get all of your duckies in a row. Of course the pressing plant needs the stampers but, they also need the label art and the cover art. Danny worked hard on the cover art with friend Kirk Wall. The cover art echoes the album title, which is to say, a return to old school pop music. A return to enjoying the listening experience by filling a room with sound. And yes, having to get up every 20 minutes to flip the album over.
The front cover image is that of Marco Pogo’s turntable in action. The back has our ugly mugs and liner notes explaining why we’re so damned excited to be offering vinyl.
With the cover art done, it’s off to the printing plant for a quick 3-4 month turn around time. OLD SCHOOL!
